Getter technology, if not properly applied can be expensive. The lifespan of a getter is highly dependent on the level of contamination of the feed gas.

If you consider to apply a getter and your gas is or can be out of range for a getter to start with, HTR has ample technology to pre-purify the process gas and bring the contamination level within normal operating range of the getter, thus minimizing cost.
